By creating a CodeLingo account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use CodeLingo.

You must be at least 13 years old to use CodeLingo. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree not to:

• Use CodeLingo for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform.
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the platform.
• Share, resell, or transfer your account to others.
• Post or transmit harassing, abusive, or offensive content.

Hearts are virtual in-app items that allow you to continue lessons after making errors. Hearts can be earned through gameplay or purchased via PayMongo. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Hearts have no monetary value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for real currency.

All content on CodeLingo — including lessons, code challenges, graphics, and branding — is owned by CodeLingo. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission.

Streak mechanics, heart regeneration, XP, and leaderboard positions are managed by our platform. We reserve the right to adjust or reset game data if we detect abuse, cheating, or technical errors.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

CodeLingo is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular learning outcomes will be achieved.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeLingo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Philippines.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of CodeLingo after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email.
